Workshop Objectives

The Workshop will address research on promising technologies for greening future aviation. Research institutions world-wide need to contribute their innovative ideas and research initiatives to this ambitious goal.

The workshop will focus on new challenges oriented towards a “Climate Neutral Air Transport”. An emphasis will be on novel technologies that accelerate the climate neutral transformation in aviation and the digital transformation in design and operation. This will be reflected in the international sessions together with research ac-tors and contributors from China and Europe.

After the interruption by the Corona-pandemic, it is also the aim to reactivate the International EU-China cooperation in Aeronautics. Candidate research topics for joint research may be identified through this prospective scientific event.
